Particularly all the ones who have been there for a long time such as the Willems and Peake and others, I’m sure it’s been a real roller coaster for them. I totally and fully respect everyone at Funhaus for continuing and growing and changing because that’s what you have to do. Then the friends start to move away or leave one by one and it’s this whole new set of friends and new dynamics and it just. As much as I don’t literally know them, you grow to feel this connection over time and truthfully it’s like hanging with your friends. I just turned 31 and I spent the last like 5 or 6 years watching these people and every video they posted. I can’t even really be upset about that though I mean it’s just what happens I guess. Oh I take the first part back, I did watch the "Its Your Show Now" video and loved it, it really captured James and Elyse's strengths in improv.
I'll watch James/Elyse and Bruce on their private channels sometime, but otherwise I've just moved on like I think a lot of people have, the channel is just so different now. If you still like the content and hosts I'm glad you still get enjoyment out of it, but these are entertainers they're not my friends and so I have no real personal attachment to the brand. Best of luck to the crew, but I just don't find Lindsay funny, Ryan also comes off as trying too hard, Jon has leaned too far into his schtick, the rest are honestly forgettable. There are a million channels out there if I wanted to watch people play games, what drew me to Funhaus and IG was the chemistry between James/Bruce/Adam/Elyse and the others, as well as the editing. After the Adam-fiasco and the new batch of hosts, I just don't find it funny anymore. I don't know, I never felt Alanah vibed well with the humor of James and Bruce so I started to lose interest around then, and once Bruce left I really started to only watch occasionally. Yeah I haven't watched a new Funhaus video.probably around when Adam left or they ran out of pre-WFH content.
